This bundle is a great option for individuals and families of all sizes to get premium quality grass fed beef delivered to your door without paying it all up front and needing to store it for a year. This subscription allows you to pay for a whole or half cow in monthly increments and get a box of beef delivered to your door containing a monthly portion of your whole or half beef.
A whole beef typically weighs about 500-600 lbs. This includes:
250 lbs hamburger
100 lbs steaks (ribeyes, sirloins, t-bones, filets, flanks, skirts, tri-tips, etc.)
75 lbs specialty cuts (briskets, short ribs, stew meat, fajita meat, soup bones, etc.)
75 lbs roasts (chuck, rump, sirloin tip, top round, etc.)
In the monthly subscription you will receive around 40-50 lbs of beef composed of a variety of the cuts of your whole beef. This will be delivered to your door on the first monday of every month for 12 months. If you select a half beef, it will be about half the amount of beef as you would expect in a whole.
As a special note for this years orders: We decided not to castrate any of our bulls so the meat for this year will be from virgin bulls. What this means for you is that the flavor will be a little different, the meat will be a little leaner, and the color will be a little darker. We did this because we want to raise hormonally balanced, nutrient dense beef that will keep your family healthy. We are excited to get your feedback on it!
